Entitlement comes in many shapes and sizes. You have the dads who think they know everything about the establishment you've worked at for the last 10 years, especially ill-mannered teens who have never worked a day in their lives, and the Karens who probably have been told ‘no’ but still can't seem to figure out what that actually means. Today, we present to you a male Karen with a ‘no’ aversion. That is, despite being given the same unwanted answer over and over and over again, he still thinks he can get somehow get one-up on the employees at this hotel.
In this story, a front desk employee is warned by a fellow employee that they were approached by this Karen guest who is “completely entitled” and keeps asking the shuttle driver to take him to places outside their scheduled route. Though the Karen boasts a “shiny membership”, no special requests are made to guests regarding the shuttle to the airport except aircrew themselves. So, this Karen tried it with the employee on shift before, the current employee on the night audit, and then the actual shuttle driver later in the story. What's revealed is that this Karen has been lying across the entirety of the staff team about other things. Read ahead to get the full story, and additionally, opinions and insight from others in similar fields.
